মেঘ বলল যাবি?
অনেক দূরে গেরুয়া নদী
অনেক দূরের একলা পাহাড়
অনেক দূরের গহন সে বন
গেলেই দেখতে পাবি,যাবি?
জানলা দিয়ে মুখ ঝুকিয়ে
বলল সে মেঘ
যাবি ? আমার সঙ্গে যাবি ?


দিন ফুরিয়ে রাত ঘনাবে
রাত্রি গিয়ে সকাল হবে
নীল আকাশে উড়বে পাখি
গেলেই দেখতে পাবি ,যাবি ?
শ্রাবণ মাসের একলা দুপুর
মেঘ বলল যাবি? আমার সঙ্গে যাবি?
কেমন করে যাবরে মেঘ, কেমন করে যাব ,
নিয়ম বাঁধা জীবন আমার
নিয়ম ঘেরা এধার ওধার
কেমন করে নিয়ম ভেঙ্গে এ জীবন হারাব
কেমন করে যাবরে মেঘ কেমন করে যাব ?
মেঘ বলল দূরের মাঠে বৃষ্টি হয়ে ঝরব
সবুজ পাতায় পাতায় ভালবাসা হয়ে ঝরব
শান্ত নদীর বুকে আনব জলোচ্ছাসের প্রেম
ইচ্ছে মত বৃষ্টি হয়ে ভাঙব, ভেঙ্গে পরব
এই মেয়ে, তুই যাবি? আমার সঙ্গে যাবি?

যাব না মেঘ ,পারব নারে যেতে
আমার আছে কাজের বাঁধন ,
কাজেই থাকি মেতে
কেবল যখন ঘুমিয়ে পরি তখন আমি যাই
সীমার বাঁধন ডিঙিয়ে দৌড়ে একছুটে পালাই
তখন আমি যাই….
স্বপনে আমার গেরুয়া নদী
স্বপনে আমার সুনীল আকাশ
স্বপনে আমার দূরের পাহাড়
সবকিছুকে পাই …

জাগরনের এই যে আমি ক্রীতদাসের মতন
জাগরনের এই যে আমি এবং আমার জীবন
কাজ অকাজের সুতোয় বোনা মুখোশ ঘেরা
জীবন
তবুরে মেঘ যাব
একদিন ঠিক তোরই সঙ্গে
শ্রাবণ হাওয়ায় নতুন রঙ্গে
যাবরে মেঘ যাব
সেদিন আমি শিমুল পলাশ ভিজব বলে যাব
পাগল হাওয়ায় উতল ধারায়

"A life without dignity"......reveals the problems of the tea garden workers. They are even unable to get their minimum wage. In fact, poor infrastructure, poor housing, health issues and lack of avenues for social mobility have been common problems since the inception of tea plantations in India....they are far behind socio economically,  culturally and educationally. 

We know that women play a vital role in the overall development of family, society, state as well as country. Women tea workers are the major labour source in various tea garden of India. They play a significant role in the establishment of tea industry though their socio economic status is very unpleasant. Most of them are innocent and illiterate for that they are working only for their livelihood survivality of family. Till long years passed after independence but the scenerio remains same.

মা...এই একটা শব্দ আমাদের জীবনে জীবনের সমান।  আমাদের জীবনে মা একটা এমন জায়গা যা আমরা ঠিক সুস্পষ্ট ভাবে ব্যাখ্যা করতে পারিনা। মা আমাদের সেই গাছ তলা যেখানে জীবনের কঠোর তপ্ত রোদের মধ্যে একফালি ছায়া যেখানে আমরা চলার পথে কিছুটা বিশ্রাম পাই। মা আমাদের বাড়ির সেই কোনটা যেখানে আমরা আর সবকিছু ভুল হলে গিয়ে বসে নিঃস্বাস নি। দুনিয়ার সবকিছু বদলাতে পারে কিন্তু মায়ের ভালোবাসা কখনো বদলাতে পারে না ।
পৃথিবীটা অনেক কঠিন, সবাই সবাইকে ছেড়ে যায়, সবাই সবাইকে ভুলে যায়, শুধু একজন যে ছেড়ে যায় না আর সারা জীবন থাকবে সে মানুষটি “মা”।
